Venue - The Harold Pratt House and Petersen Hall
Home to the prestigious Council on Foreign Relations, the Harold Pratt House was constructed in 1919 as one of New York's grand Park Avenue mansions. The building was designed by an outstanding architect of the time, William Adams Delano, of the firm Delano and Aldrich. Only the best materials available were used in constructing the house, which is reputed to have cost over one million dollars in 1920. The house features a majestic marble stairway connecting the ballroom with a variety of other beautiful spaces including a library, reception and drawing room, all featuring cathedral ceilings, fireplaces and antique chandeliers.
The recently constructed Peter G. Peterson Hall is a state of the art conference centre featuring some of the most technologically advanced equipment available.
The house is rich in history, steeped in grandeur and presented in all its elegance, the perfect vessel in which to host the Superyacht Design Symposium.
